The Artisan Directory is a full product design and development project built for the Ministry of Industry, Investment & Commerce. I handled the entire UX process, including research, problem definition, user flows, sitemap architecture, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, design system creation, and responsive layouts. This platform will connect Jamaican artisans to customers by showcasing their products, skills, locations, and business information. I designed the system for clarity and scalability, ensuring future features (user accounts, artisan dashboards, product management, etc.) can be added without redesigning the core foundation. I am also fully developing the site myself, bringing the approved UI to life with clean, structured code and a maintainable component-based layout. The result is a polished, modern directory built to support artisans and strengthen Jamaica’s creative economy.

Hurricane Melissa Business Relief Portal is a full website design project created for the Ministry of Industry, Investment & Commerce to support Jamaica’s national recovery efforts. I redesigned the entire portal structure, strengthened the information hierarchy, and created new high-clarity sections for relief initiatives, damage assessments, MSME support programmes, and live updates. My focus was improving communication and usability for thousands of affected small businesses. I reorganized complex government content into a clean, accessible layout, refined the visual direction, and provided UI enhancements that elevated credibility and trust. The result is a modern, informative, and user-friendly portal that helps MSMEs quickly find the support they need during national disaster recovery.

I addressed this by introducing a clear layout, consistent branding, and responsive design, while also optimizing performance for faster load times and a seamless mobile experience. Target Audience: The site serves Jamaican entrepreneurs, business owners, and the general public seeking government services, as well as Ministry staff who manage content updates. Client Impact: The new website not only modernized the Ministry’s online presence but also made it easier for users to access resources, stay informed, and connect with agencies. The result is a professional, accessible, and efficient platform that supports the Ministry’s mission to drive economic growth and business development in Jamaica.
